The images can be processed from Dunord's scanner interfaces, TWAIN color scanners or JPEG images.

Dunord's broad range of interfaces provide an effective way of transferring black and white and grayscale scanner data directly into computer memory. Dunord's scanner interfaces connect to most popular high speed scanners, are supported by a majority of imaging applications and can transfer over 125 single sided or double sided A4 documents per minute. A single interface is required for duplex scanners.
Dunord's unique TwinStream technology provides simultaneous transfer of black and white and grayscale images in a single scan. Like with Dunord's Applications can then use the gray image to provide better rendition of scanned documents, or to improve OCR, ICR and OMR reliability. An application designer could even decide to keep only certain parts of a document in gray, like a picture or a signature, while using the black and white image for archiving the rest of the document.
