Colerase efficiently and quickly removes any number of background colors from a form or other type of scanned document. With Colerase, users can improve compression and get better forms processing and recognition. Colerase meets user's need for speed: can process over 140 color images per minute. Colindex uses color to automatically find and extract highlighted or colored fields, no matter where they are on the page or how completely the fields are highlighted. Whenever fields are found, Colindex returns its location, dimension and index number. Colors can be removed from the fields to improve ICR/OCR accuracy. Colindex supports up to seven different colors schemes for different levels of index. A demo of Colindex is distributed with Colerase. The help file (colindex_help.zip (3881 Kb)) has been added in October 2000.		Many document management systems use black and white images for indexing and archiving. Coladapt is a threshold process that dynamically adapts the conversion parameters. The result is a more balanced image with good contrast between foreground and background. Deskewed images increase the reliability of processing engines and are more pleasing to the eye. Colalign crops and deskews color and grayscale images to provide characters and features crisper than tradional black and white deskew. Colalign is a fast software product. It takes advantage of Intel's fast Pentium CPU's to detect and correct skew from scanned files or scanned images. Colalign also has rotation capabilities.
